Inaguration Ceremony

So finally it happened.........Yagna & Dhurva-09 came with a bang!!!

First in line,we had our inauguration.Seeking the blessings of God,we began with prayer.Going with norm,our Union Chairperson,Gayathri R Nair,gave the welcome speech.Next we had our Principal,Dr Rajasree M S,delivering the presidential address.She gave importance to technology reaching out to the common mom',which is the need of the hour from the budding engineers.



Following this was our chief guest,Mr Narayana Moorthy,Project Director,GSLV Mark 3,VSSc,addressing us.He stressed on the attributes of a good engineer.He gave insight into ISRO and the scope,avionics holds for future engineers.



The other dignitaries who blessed us with their words on this auspicious ocassion were Prof.K.Narayanam,Director,LBS Centre for Science & Technology;K.Maheshwaran Nair,Ward Councillor,Poojapura;Dr C Rajeev,Vice President,PTA,LBSITW;Prof David Solomon George,HOD,EC-AE Dept,LBSITW;Porf Sabu M Thampi,HOD,CS-IT Dept,LBSITW.



The vote of thanks was proposed by CS-IT Association Secretary,Anjolie A Nair. While the technical events were in full swing,the main stage was set ablaze with ravishing performances by LBTians.The performances included melodious songs and superb dances.
